-Anything off Weezer's Blue Album (Sweater Song, Say It Ain't So, Only in Dreams)
-Anything by Modest Mouse that we can make sound like Modest Mouse (Doin' the Cockroach, Cowboy Dan, 3rd Planet, Shit Luck)
-Loro by Pinback...possibly others

Let's blatantly rip off Three Word Name songs.
We should work on being able to do a set of all original stuff. I think you need to arrange all the songs you've written for a three or four piece band and I'll do the same. Mine don't have words though because yes I can't sing.
songs i've written? you're funny.
i write 'riffs', little ditties that don't have any other parts to them. most of my riffs i forget within weeks, a few have stuck around for the long haul. do to my inability to go buy a 4-track recorder or something that loops, i never write other parts to my music.
if i did, my songs would sound highly repetitive, with slight variation throughout and consistent overlapping adding to the sound.
but again, i wouldn't count on originals for our work.
give me a solid top 10 songs you would want to play...that way i can determine if i can actually learn these songs or not.
