Our hockey team, the Tidal Wave (we did not pick this name), is undefeated through four games in the season. We've been crushing people and haven't been particularly careful about running up the score. That in mind, if you look on the "Records" portion of the online scorekeeper that the league uses (http://www.pointstreak.com/players/players-division-records.html?divisionid=23491&seasonid=3675) you'll notice that Tidal Wave does NOT have the record for greatest winning margin. We don't even have the second or third highest winning margin.
The explanation for this fact is also why our game this Saturday is going to be awesome. The one team that we have not played yet, the Quakes, has scored a total of four goals over three games and gotten annihilated by teams that we have rolled over quite easily. The bottom line here for this mismatch is that the over-under on the number of players on our team who get hat tricks is 3.

Also our goalie is not on the "most saves" list because he sees so few shots. I bet he thinks he's just amazing and doesn't get that we have really good D-men.
I'd like to go on record as saying there will be under 3 hat tricks next game.
I was a NHL scout.
That has nothing to do with anything, but it always makes me feel good to say.
If Kyle and Josh slow things down and start dishing to Steve and Justin, then Steve and Justin will have hat tricks. If Kyle plays D, whichever defenseman move to O will have a hat trick. Really the only question is who can score the goals first because later in the game our scoring will drop off because it will just seem mean.
Now all five of our victories are on the "greatest winning margin" list.
