"Taylor doesn't fucking count"
-Adri
Now the real question...what were we talking about that she said this?

A procrastinating rock band that mostly plays ice hockey and slow-pitch softball, but definitely talks about music a lot

Well here is the thought process I went through before I came up with the now confirmed answer.
-Initially I thought hockey. Something regarding hockey has to be at the core of this. But soon figured no conversation about hockey could lead to Adri dropping and F bomb on Ethan.
-I was stuck after that. I was picturing something to do with the baby possibly. Yet again I couldn't understand what the context could be for Adri to drop a "Taylor doesn't fucking count".
-So finally I came to marriage(with some help). But I will leave it at that....
The use of the F-bomb is what makes it interesting. The way it's phrased implies that they were arguing and Ethan used me as an example to prove his point. As much as I would like to construe this quote to be in any way flattering towards me, I'm pretty sure that's not how Ethan rolls.
Ethan: blah blah blah. Why should I have to behave like an adult? Taylor's married and he still acts like a child.
Adri: Taylor doesn't fucking count.
Ethan: blah blah blah. Taylor thinks I'm funny.
Adri: Taylor doesn't fucking count.
Ethan: blah blah blah. I'm just as emotionally available as Taylor.
Adri: Taylor doesn't fucking count.
Am I close?
As much as I would like to bemoan the incredible show of love and support from my bride in her post, I think she's probably right. One problem with her analysis though is that there would seemingly need to be a reason why I specifically would not count but someone like Brian or Jason would count. Though I may act like a child, think Ethan's funny, and be emotionally unavailable, this doesn't really set me apart from Brian in any way (or I would assume Jason or most any guy).
I'm on pins and needles to find out how insulted I should be.
OK, I feel as though I should do the honors here. I'll steal Leslie's idea of writing it like a script.
Adri (while PMSing): You don't even want to be married to me.
Ethan: I like being married to you.
Adri: No you don't. You wish you weren't married. None of your friends are married.
Ethan: Taylor's married.
.....and cue quote.*
*Taylor DOES, in fact, "fucking count" as a valid married man. I did not, however, in my hormonal rage feel that he counted as a valid reason that Ethan wants to be married to me. What would Ethan's argument have been 6 weeks ago? You can do better than that E.
This only confirms my theory that women are terrorists. And crying is the ultimate act of terrorism. There is no negotiating with them, but if you give in then the terrorists have already won. Adri's act of terrorism here is a common tactic deployed in the female Jihad against logic and just saying what the eff you're really trying to say. They say something that is false but then get upset when the infidel (Ethan in this case) chooses to argue the point rather than the underlying emotion. Adri emotes. The wheels in Ethan's head start turning. Boom! Cue quote. He didn't stand a chance.
Nor do you, sweet thing.
